With the world in crisis there really is something you can do to improve both your own health and the planet´s – cut down on animal products. The closer you are to a vegan diet the better. Statistics show that people who have a high intake of vegetables and fruits and a low intake of meat live longer than those who follow the opposite way of eating. What´s more, meat production is a hugely inefficient use of resources – it takes about 10 kg of plant protein to produce a mere 1 kg of beef protein.
